The Finger Lakes Region of New York State was dug out by glaciers during the last Ice Age leaving behind many finger-like lakes, rich fertile soil and a climate ideal for growing grapes. The clear, cold-water lakes have always attracted water enthusiasts, fishermen, hunters, hikers and family picnickers, but the recent increase in tourism can largely be attributed to the area's rapidly growing winemaking industry. The region has become the State's third largest tourist destination and the local economies have benefited greatly.
Having grown up in the southern tier and later settling in Rochester, I've spent many seasons swimming, camping, hiking and antiquing in the Finger Lakes. Over the past two years I began exploring in depth, the region's backroads
and photographing the many treasures I uncovered.
Combining the images with many different materials, I've established a growing network of shops and galleries in the Finger Lakes where I sell my work. As with all of my other products, you can buy direct from this website by clicking
on "Contact Me". Products are featured on the PhotoArts page of this website and consist of prints, note cards, golf balls, 4" x 4" stone tile coasters and 2" x 2" magnets, t-shirts and coffee mugs. Here are some note card assortments
and images that are available for purchase.
